After Project Dagon has been on ice for quite a while work on the game has finally begun again!

To celebrate this event I have uploaded a batch of the long promised new Screenshots to the gallery – please have a look!

In other news much has happened behind the scenes – parts of the story have been rewritten, new characters introduced, work on new scenes has begun … busy times!

The probably most important news however is of technical nature – the engine we are using to create Dagon  – Wintermute – now supports both Mac OS X as well as the iOS platforms. That means that we now can not only offer the game for both Windows and Mac but also create a separate version of the game that runs on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch! Naturally that version has to be a bit different from the PC/Mac version due to the lack of Mouse and Keyboard, but nevertheless this is great news for us as we think that these platforms are ideal for Point & um … Touch? adventures like Dagon.

Today is H.P. Lovecraft’s 120th birthday – Happy Birthday, wherever you may be right now!

Well, I guess most of you people out there thought Project Dagon was dead already – and I can’t blame you for that – however, the project is still alive and kicking. In fact, the first of three chapters is finished and the work on #2 has started.

The reasons for not updating the website in the last months are manifold, we finished our study, hunted for jobs, and Yours Truly moved from Germany to the UK, so there wasn’t enough time to fully concentrate on Dagon.

However, now everything is more or less sorted out, and so the work will go on.
